, actually I like the idea of 6 starters and 6 reserves.
Frank and I chatted and came up with the idea of adding cap commesurate with what our average cap dollars spent per player is for each new position added. For the last 3 years we've averaged about 600 a year per player, so we came up with an increase of ~7200 (600*12) which could be adjusted split into 2 seasons so the IDP's could be incorporated 50% 1 year and 50% the next. Thus the 2006 cap could be 14,000 (10,500 plus 3,500) and 2007 17,500 (10,500 plus 7,000).
Actually the more I think about it, I'm concerned about impactig those who have no interest in IDP's.
