I went with a small back at 2.12, now I'm going with a BIG one. At 6' 4" and 257-264lbs (depending on where you read), this guy is a huge back. The Giants are planning to use him as a short yardage / goalline type back... immediatly. Who knows, if Tiki goes down he might even get more than that.
My expectations with him aren't nearly as high as with say Pearman, who I think is more of a complete back, (I've also read that Jacobs is't the sharpest tool in the shed), but he may have some decent value. We'll see.
I debated taking a certain QB with this pick, but just don't see the payback in a soon enough timeframe.
Cedric Houston (taken by Matt at 2.15) was also a serious consideration, but I had Jacobs just ahead of him.
