The Immortal Ramirez is on a distinguished road
Default Re: Theology Discussion?

Once again, Undead speaks much more eloquenty than I can. I have never been an evangelist (obvious from my writing).

not to 'hurl stones' but you slammed Mike Page for making 'judgement statements' and you threw one of the most common secular ones out there at me, stating I'm 'brainwashed.' Not offended, just want you to be aware that if you chastise someone for something, you might not want to do it yourself.

In addition to questioning what you said, you stated that the 'explanation of 'faith' means little' to you. I disagree. You have 'faith' that your beliefs are right, as I have 'faith' that my beliefs are right. You have complete conviction that religions are flawed and you simply stop existing when you die. That, my friend, is faith. Not the same faith that I have, but it is very much a faith statement. You can't prove it and neither can I - thusly it's faith. So, you do HAVE faith.

Undead's comments about cultural influence there at the end is excellent.

PS. Mike, I'm not trying to convert you either. I'm simply trying to have a spirited (ok, pun intended) yet intellectual debate. Besides, I would feel bad for the poor fool who knocks on your door to 'convert' you...hee hee, that would be fun to watch!
