Lenin was much closer to Marx than Stalin. If you are going to claim that since Darwin begat Marx, Marx begat Lenin, and Lenin begat Stalin, that Stalin is somehow a product of the theories of evolution, or even that Stalin is somehow an inevitible product of communisitic theory, you're fooling yourself. Stalin used the idealistic views of communism, concentrated power, and ruled with a ruthlessness that would make Hussein blush. Please, he trampled on the whole ideal of communism. I'm no communism apologist, but to argue that Stalin is the natural product of Marx ignores the fact that no near as bad as Stalin followed him.
