Come and get 'em (2006)
Well the air is getting damp and chilly (at least the Philadelphia region) so it is time for what looks like it might be an annual fire sale. Anyhow, most of the following players are affordable and in play if you feel like you want to make a run for the title this year:
* RB- Ahman Green- # 7 RB is averaging 22.9 points a game with a very reasonable $1,600 (1 year deal)
* WR- Reggie Wayne- # 7 WR is averaging 15.9 points a game with a $2,200 contract (1 year)
* DL- Jason Taylor- #5 DL averaging 14.1 points a game but with a pretty high price tag ($840/ 1 year)
* LB- Will Witherspoon- # 7 LB is averaging 16.9 points a game with a
$880 contract (1 year)
* LB- Bart Scott- # 15 LB is averaging 15.5 points a game with a
very reasonable $100 contract (1 year)
I am looking to build for the future so young players and/or draft picks are what I am shooting for. Might be willing to take on salaries in the right deal. Let me know as it looks like a couple of teams have a real strong shot at the playoffs and some of the above players may be able to fit into a playoff run.
