In light of the shame of yet another defeat at the hands of their dreaded rival Parkwood Predators, Owner & General manager Jim White has announced the firing of the Royal Hawaiian Opihi offensive coordinator (who will remain nameless as he has now achieved "persona non grata" status). Said White, "Heck, if Billick can do it, then so can I!" The Opihi appeared to have made another mid-season run to vault themselves into the lead for the Eastern Division crown, but back to back losses to division opponents has left management scratching their heads. "A change has to be made. We've decided to move in a different direction. From now on, expect something new from the OPIHI on offense!" The former offensive coordinator, who had been with the Opihi since they took over their team in the Frenzy League, could not be reached for comment. It was rumored, however, that he had been placed on a barge and set adrift somewhere in the south Pacific.
