With the addition of Steve Smith at 1089 and an extra $300 savings at QB, I have filled out a rock solid starting lineup and still have money to be able to have solid backups for bye weeks.

As of now (who said I'm done trading???), the Popes will start:
D. McNabb
C. Benson
R. Brown
S. Smith
T. Owens
H. Ward
V. Davis

I'm extremely happy with that lineup. While I hated to give up one of my cheap, long contract RBs, I realistically was not going to use Jacobs AT ALL this year (not even on the Bye Week - both my starters sit Week 9, and so does he).

I want to publicly thank my predecessor. While I took over a struggling team, he gave me exactly what I like: cheap, long-term, quality RBs. I love the flexibility that comes from having that kind of core. Leaving me with R. Brown, L. White, and B. Jacobs was a great core to start from.
Yep it's a deal that I felt worked for both of us. Love those kinds of deals.
