As far as LT goes, you're acting like the price paid for top performers always reflects the same point per dollar spent on players across the board. That's never the case. Just because his price is double Jamal's doesn't mean we think he's going to score twice as much. Is the potential there to do just that? You bet, but I'm certainly not banking on it. Of course it doesn't hurt that we've got 12K in cap space that's going to go to waste if we don't bid guys up enough to make them cost prohibitive to their current owners.

I know he's not going to score twice as much... so why spend twice as much?
In the end the bidding on LT is good for me, especially if Portis is matched. Either Burt retains LT and right now has 400 less than last year to work with or he lets LT go and has no one near his ability to replace him.
I'm just enjoying watching LT get bid up like crazy!!
