I think the rookie cut should be up to the owner's discretion.

I clearly value Hawkins more than Manningham as I assigned Hawkins 5yrs and Manningham 4 yrs. Having to lose a rookie should be penalty enough.

I couldn't find who the others were forced to cut, but would the same player be cut if you had a choice or Burt droppe dthe lowest draft pick? I also think my case maybe unique as I had declared all years and didn't forget anyone that I wanted to keep.
