Burt... you're right... there is NO PRECEDENCE for this.
My heart says go with the "spirit" of the rule, rather than the letter.
I was interested in seeing whether or not he'd be listed on the injury report as "OUT."
But if suspended players aren't "officially" on the 53-man roster, then they wouldn't be listed.

I'm inclined to allow this IR designation... and to ask that we take a league vote as to amending the IR designation to include suspended NFL players. Note: Our 4-game rule would still apply, however. Once a player goes on the IR, for whichever reason, he has to remain there a minimum of 4 games before being eligible for reactivation.

I'll post a poll.
