Week 15 - Playoff weekend DOS!
I had to change the website matchups tonight... since the Llamas should be playing the lowest remaining seed (thus, the Dixie Chunks & not the Attack). It's set now... here's the matchup:
#1 Llamas vs. #4 Dixie Chunks #2 Opihi vs. #3 Attack (Reminder: The Llamas & Opihi each get a +7 point homefield advantage this weekend.) |

Re: Week 15 - Playoff weekend DOS!
With just the Monday Night game remaining... here's how the two semifinal matchups look:
#1 Llamas (160.90 + 7pt. Home field advantage) vs. #4 Dixie Chunks (123.20).... This one is over, folks... The Chunks' QB/RB combo definitely showed up. But the 3 WRs and 1 TE combined for only 24.85 points (that's an average of a little over 6 points each). That's where they lost. The Llamas, in their inaugural Frenzy Season, advance to the Super Bowl next week. #2 Opihi (98.40 + 7pts. home field advantage) vs. #3 Attack (88.55)... This one is still up in the air, though the Opihi hold about a 17 point lead going into the MNF game. The Opihi still have 2 players to go: RB Quinten Ganther (WAS) & WR Steve Smith (NYG). The Attack's hopes & dreams rest on the capable shoulders of rookie phenom Hakim Nicks (NYG). It's a big hole to come out of, for sure, but if anyone can possibly pull it off, it's the deep-threat Nicks. We'll check back tomorrow night when it's all over. |

Re: Week 15 - Playoff weekend DOS!
Addendum... the OPIHI website still doesn't have the Houston Texans' as starting for the Opihi. They had a +7 point advantage over the SD defense (which was inadvertently left in the starting lineup). So the Opihi have 105.40 + 7pts. home field advantage going into tomorrow's game. That makes it a little tougher hill to climb for Nicks & Co.
