Covid IR Spots
Hey Guys, I was wanting to see what you all thought about implementing some covid IR spots that would allow us to place players on IR for 2 weeks and then week by week until they are back. We could discuss 1/2 or full salary allowance while in the Covid IR spot. Any other thought or suggestions? This could get weird this season.

Re: Covid IR Spots
good discussion on the other board. Seems premature to make a decision now. Either covid will be rampant enough the season will be jeopardy or it'll be under control enough we may not need any extra IR spots etc.
any reason we can't make a last second rule change to add an IR spot or two last second? |

Re: Covid IR Spots
I agree Dave, and said so in frenzy. I think it's good to discuss, but at this point, I'd rather take a wait and see approach

Quote:
Covid is an unprecedented worldwide situation. I think it’s wise to have a Plan B or even Plan C in place. What’s the harm in dedicating some spots and UFA rules to Covid? If it never comes into play these spots won’t matter. But if Covid does rear its ugly head, even in a limited fashion, we’ll have a plan and process in place to mitigate it as much as possible and allow teams to attempt to be as competitive as possible without decimating their rosters.
