It's Boo Time for the defending champion Predators!

The Predators recent splash in the UFA market for TE Boo Williams has the team all jazzed up for the 2004 season... Boo has been brought in by the team to replace the now retired Shannon Sharpe. Predators GM Mike SantaLucia had this to say about his latest acquisition. "I'm VERY high on Boo, we feel that after Shannon retired, Boo was far and away the top TE available, and were willing to make a substantial investment to acquire his services." The team appears excited to be hooking up Boo with their big off-season acquisition of QB Aaron Brooks. "There's a chemistry that's been building between the two of them, their familiarity and confidence with each other was a key factor in bringing Boo in" said SantaLucia "we feel they will both play integral roles in the defense of our championship title."

Hmm, I hear the tone of a confident GM... it certainly seems the team is jazzed up with the signing, as all around team HQ's a jazz tune by the now defunct band Moxy Fruvous can be heard playing again, and again and again... it goes something like this...
