Thank you Buffalo...
Mike,
Please pass on thanks to the other Buffalo team for reaching WAY FAR to grab that DB (I don't even know the name) and allowing Bunkley to fall to number 14 (they didn't even have to trade up!!!) to the Birds. Just one more reason to not be a Bills fan anymore. I don't get that pick... |

Re: Thank you Buffalo...
I for one am actually happy with the Raiders draft! For once they didn't reach or make any questionable calls.
So glad the Raiders passed on Mr. Product of the system and drafted Huff. Woodson has been garbage the past years, but hopefully Huff can become what Woodson was supposed to... the heart and sould of the D. Suprising how little attention players not named Bush, Lienart, Young, Cutler recieved.... if were any other year Huff would be getting major pub. The rest of the draft filled more needs at OLB and O-line. I'll give the Raiders a nice solid B. Did I mention how happy I am the Raiders skipped Lienart?! The only QB I would want was Young and once he was taken by Ten, I was hoping the Raiders would make the sensible decison to take Huff. Lienart = product of the system.

The only thing I have to say about Huff is the image of him I will always have is of him getting stiff armed and being dropped to the ground like a rag doll by Lendale White in the Rose Bowl. |

Re: Thank you Buffalo...
That statement didnt need to be forced at all. Let's see he played on a team with 11 players that were drafted this year. 8 were from the offensive side of the ball. 6 out of that 8 were 1st day selections, and 1 of the was picked #2 but was rated as the best player by at least 20 GMs and has had statements as a once in a lifetime talent. Yet that team was beaten by the #3 and #7th selection in the draft.
Lienart is nothing special.

Re: Thank you Buffalo...
You are all silly. When Leinert fills in for Warner when he goes down with his injury this year, He'll be great. Leinert may be a product of the system, or he may have been one of the reasons that system ran so well. Time will tell, but TEN were a bunch of fools to pass on him. Fools! ARZ made out like bandits.
Actually the Birds made out like bandits. Not only did BUF miss on Bunkley, but Justice fell into the 2nd. Might be the steal of the draft. |
