Default Week 1 Notes

The Parkwood Predators started the season 1-0 for the 2nd time in three years. The Predators have won 4 straight regular season games dating back to last season, a team record. Kirk Morrison's 22.75 points was the 6th highest LB score in team history. The Predators won their 10th Tillman Division game, improving to 10-3 lifetime within the Division, and are the first team in SAC'D to win 10 divisional games (the Vibe and Insects failed to match this record by losing this week).

The Crestone Needles started the season 0-1 for the first time in team history. Their 129.65 points was the lowest score in team history, surpassing their previous worst of 139.3 points in week 2 last season in a loss to the Gunslingers. Marc Bulger's 19.2 points was the 10th highest QB score in team history. Alge Crumpler's 6 points was the 10th highest TE score in team history. Stephen Gostkowksi's 8 points tied the 3rd highest K score in team history. London Fletcher-Baker's 22 points was the 2nd highest LB score in team history.

The Glenside Gunslingers started the season 1-0 for the second consecutive year. Their 180.6 points was the 6th highest score in team history. David Akers' 9 points tied the 7th highest K score in team history.

The Wallace Clan of Elderslie have started the season 0-1 for both years of their existience. Their 158.3 points was the 9th highest score in team history. [Editors note, way to go, it only took the third year for you to reach this goal, joining three teams who were only in the league one year and reached that point. What? Considering I've never won the division, or made the playoffs in SACD, this fact STUNS me!

Yep, 10-3 within the division and 6-10 against the other two divisions. Since the Tillman is 53-63 lifetime, the White is 60-56 lifetime, and the Thomas is 61-55 lifetime, I think which know which one is the weak division.

No doubt, the Tillman Division has been the weakling in SACD thus far, but we'll turn things around... starting THIS year!

Tillman is 53-63
White is 60-56
Thomas is 61-55

This seems like pretty good parity actually. If the Tillman has a strong year this year and hopefully we will this means that all of the divisions could be within a few games of each other. Considering this the third year of the league that does not seem to bad.

I pointed this out more in jest than anything else. With the pitiful record of my Dodgers, I'm really not in any place to be throwing stones. I was really just hoping to get more of a rise out of Mike, but apparently I failed.

, nice try. I'm way way way more low key these days!

(my record of mediocrity in SACD is certainly nothing to boast about either)
