Who to Start at RB this week?
So, I am in a money league, and fighting for playoff spot. I am not sure who I should start at RB, so thought I would poll people here. Probably won't take into account Bryan and Dale's opinion though, since they are in same league also in the hunt - Dale in same division ;-)
This league is NOT a PPR league. Start two from: Eddie Lacy, Zac Stacy, Ryan Matthews, Shane Vereen or Bobby Rainey Which 2 and why? Thanks

Re: Who to Start at RB this week?
I go Stacy and Lacy. They are both guaranteed to be the lead backs and should get 90% or more of the carries. Both of them are the goalline options.
...and it rhymes, that has to be in there as well, right? |

Re: Who to Start at RB this week?
Yah, sounds like a good comedy team or sitcom.
I am leaning that way too. I was just surprised when I went into MFL's Projected Scores, and they had Rainey and Matthews as my top two scorers at RB. But another site I use, has Stacy as #3 overall this week.. But still wanting to hear others point of views..

Re: Who to Start at RB this week?
I would go Stacy and Lacy as well as I expect them both to get a heavy load (20+ carries).
Stacy has been getting 25+ carries over last 3 games and should see the same against the Bears who simply have not been able to stop the run. I think the Packers will lean heavily on Lacy this week with Tolzein under center, and like the Bears, the Vikings can't stop the run. I think they give up an average of over 1 TD per game vs the run, so Lacy should find the endzone at least once. After that I would rank them Vereen, Matthews, Rainey. As for Vereen, I look at what Woodhead did against the Broncos. He posted 6 carries for 27 yards and 4 receptions for 17 yards and a score. I think Vereen will match or exceed that. Matthews has been playing well and seeing more touches but they could be in catch-up mode against the Chiefs which means less Matthews and more Woodhead. The Bucs should be in catch-up mode early so I expect Rainey's carries to be limited (< 15) plus I just don't trust him...yet. |

Re: Who to Start at RB this week?
Stacy & Lacy.
Bears are horrible against the run. Vikings aren't that much better either. It's kind of a crapshoot on any given week with these 5... but those two are the one's I'd lean on this week. |

Re: Who to Start at RB this week?
Final Tally:
Lacy: 21.8 Stacy 15.7 Matthews 12.5 Vareen 9.1 Rainey 3.5 So definitely the right choices were Stacy and Lacy, and Stacy was admirable. Alshon Jeffery and Victory Cruz were the ones to let me down so far. Whether it was enough, we shall see tonight. I am currently ahead 67.4 to 43.65. I have RG3, Vernon Davis and SF DEF going tonight He has Gore and Phil Dawson.
