Football And Politics
I don't care about NFL players political agendas!! I only care about what they do on the playing field. Just like the bozos in hollywood they perform for my enjoyment and both are well paid to do what they do. Just stop it already!!
I do support their rights as American citizens to do their protests. |

Re: Football And Politics
Well...as a season ticket holder and ACTUAL VETERAN of our armed forces...(I know that may not mean much to some)...THE WHOLE NFL can go **** themselves...Carol is more pissed than me and was actually glad the Broncos lost today...shocking to say the least...we will not be attending one more game this season...no parking fees, no concessions, no merchandise...NO NOTHING until they start respecting the Flag and Anthem...just my 2 cents...
Yes, they have the right to protest, I get it and I fought for it for over 20 years....blah, blah, blah....still doesn't make it right to do it when they do it...find another way, do a different protest...dress up in your little ninja outfits and tear down monuments...I don't care (actually I do, but...) - just quit messing with My American Flag and My National Anthem...yes, they are mine and I choose not to support the NFL because they disrespect my brothers and sisters in arms... Ok...not the whole NFL...most of them and especially the media who spews false narratives on the subject...I read most of the team messages and therefore message boards...They are more in the spoiled, entitled brat mode than supportive of protest mode...pretty cool I thought...There were a few grown ups on the fields today...The Captain from PIT was inspiring and yet took heat from his head coach for his actions...for shame...DL Derek Wolf of Denver was cool too... AND Monday night we will see if Dallas really does what the owner says...YES, Jerry Jones says that all on his team work for him and he will not tolerate disrespect for the Flag....we shall see Jerry...I hope it is true...

Re: Football And Politics
I did like what Dallas did. They knelt to show the unity everyone is talking about but then stood for Anthem. I thought it hit in both, the cause and respect.

Re: Football And Politics
Apparently investors don't like NFL players protests either. Although this article was written prior to Sundays game I'm pretty sure this weeks events didn't help the situation.
