4.10 WR Frank Darby, ATL
"Wow, RHP... you're sure quick to jump on the "WR VOID" left in The ATL after the Julio Jones trade, aren't you? You really think this rookie's going to be starting?" No. Cool your jets, SAC'D league. We liked this kid even BEFORE Julio became the "Music City Miracle, pt.2." At this point in the draft, we think there's excellent value here. Darby is a physical receiver who played alongside Brandon Aiyuk at Arizona State (and, if truth be told, is a better receiver than he is as well!). He's a good route runner who is faster than you think. At 6'1" he's not huge by any means, but he'll be another outside presence to offer mismatches for the new WR1, Calvin Ridley. We expect this to be patient with Mr. Darby... and see him taking his place in the RHP weekly starting lineup in the 2023 season and beyond. Welcome to the Predators, Frank! |

Re: 4.10 WR Frank Darby, ATL
Nice pick! I didn't expect him to be available at 4.08 so I briefly thought about selecting him over Granson...but I couldn't pass up on the hometown Colt and knew Granson likely wouldn't make it to the 5th.
