Guys, it will take a while for me to get MFL updated with all the moves..

If I have not completed everything by the first game, just add starters not on your team yet as a comment, and I can adjust starting lineup afterwards...

Make a standard form/outline and post it so we can all use it each year.

From rule 8a:

2. All Initial Bids must follow the same format for the Subject Line . . . that is:

Position, Player's Full name, NFL Team, Bid Amount

for example: RB, Marshawn Lynch, SEATTLE

I thought we had something here as a template, since we do in other forums, such as Rookie Bidding, RFA bidding, UFA bidding, etc.

I will try to get a template posted to be used next year....good idea Rick

For positing players in declarations, use the following format (most widely used):

Position PlayerName, Team - Years (Salary)
e.g., QB Patrick Mahomes, KC - 3yrs (3000)


Proposed sections of declaration (copy, paste and add players):

Active Roster
Use this section to declare years for RFAs and Offseason UFAs on active roster.

Rookies to Active Roster
Use this section to declare years for Rookies going to active roster.

Rookies to Taxi Squad
Use this section to declare years for Rookies going to taxi squad.

Rookies to Practice Squad
Use this section to declare years for Rookies going to taxi squad (5th and 6th round draft picks only).


For Promotions and Cuts, a separate thread is needed in the Free Agency & Waiver Wire forum. Some have also been posting those in declarations with links to thread in Free Agency & Waiver Wire forum. Do we want to require those in declarations as well or just list in Free Agency & Waiver Wire forum? If required here, proposed sections:

Promote from TS/PS to AR/TS
Use this section to list promotions to AR/TS from TS/PS. Also need to post in Free Agency & Waiver Wire forum and include link to post for each promotion.

Cuts from TS/PS
Use this section to list cuts from TS/PS. Also need to post in Free Agency & Waiver Wire forum and include link to post for each cut.

I think it's helpful to include the promotions and cuts with links in the declarations.

Either one works for me..if other could pipe in, that would be great - just would make my beginning of year chores much easier to have everyone use same formattting.

MLF should be up to date..please check your rosters and verify I caught everything. A lot of moves this year...

Here are issues I found with MFL when comparing to roster app:

Wiener Dogs
Missing LB Jacob Phillps, CLE cut from TS...he was previously active for 4 weeks so penalty applies

Scorpions
WRs Kelvin Harmon, Trey Quinn, and Riley Ridley were TS and PS cuts so penalties do not apply...need to remove from salary adjustments in MFL
