Tiny Port St. Lucie granted the 14th NF-FFL Franchise for 2004
Itty bitty Port St. Lucie Florida will be joining the big leagues just in time for the 2004 season. They will be represented by a NF-FFL franchise represented nicknamed the SandDragons. The Port St. Lucie SandDragons are owned by newcomer John Lauter (jlauter244@aol.com) of Hamburg, NY. John has chosen to locate his franchise in Port St. Lucie, despite residing in Hamburg, NY currently. Apparently Mr. Lauter's has hopes to make Port St. Lucie his future home!
The SandDragons have chosen a contempory logo of an eccentric dragon head. The teams colors will be midnight blue and silver. The teams helmet is midnight blue while the SandDragon logo is in silver as is the facemask. It took Port St. Lucie a few days to get things in gear, but they are now fully on board and preparing to draft out of the #2 position for the 2004 draft which begins at 12:01am on Monday August 9th. Welcome to the NF-FFL John! |
