Thoughts on the draft?
Any one interested in going over the draft, or putting together a mock draft of some kind. Thoughts on players and such, who you like, who's overrated, who's under Mel "Big Hair" Kiper's radar. Nothing big, thought it'd be a fun thing to do since a lot of the mocks I read almost seem silly in some of their rationality. (i.e.- as much as I'd love it, I don't think the Eagles will be taking a WR in the first round. I don't get why the drafts I see having them hitting either Chad Jackson or Santonio Holmes. From what I hear, the WR's are weak this year and you are not getting a good crop from drafting them as first rounders. Plus the birds need DT or OL help at this point.)
The problem may be that we could be tipping out hands for our own draft, but I know Skippy has had conversations about putting together a site for FF. Just a thought. It's an exciting part of the offseason. |

Re: Thoughts on the draft?
My thoughts: If the Lions draft a WR in Round 1 I am "quitting" as a Lions fan.

Re: Thoughts on the draft?
As far as the mock idea, I know I just don't have enough in depth knowledge to do my own draft, except to look at someone else's and move players up and down based on what little I know. I doubt that would provide much value to anyone, other than to tip my hand.

Anyhow, I kind of remember you now living in that area (for some reason I was thinking you are in CO) but I figured it was worth a shot. |
