Sam Istician's first stab at SAC'D
Frenzy readers will be familiar with my little weekly look at the records. As the league is only a year old, the records aren't all that notable, but as time goes on, will become a little more significant, and hopefully more interesting. But, I figures since I am compiling them as I go I might as well share for those interested. Without further ado, here are the week 1 notes:
The Parkwood Predators started the season 0-1 for the first time. Their 153.35 points was the 2nd lowest in team history, more than only their 112.6 points in week 7 of 2005. Terrell Owens' 17 points was the 10th highest WR score in Predators history. Neil Rackers' 10.6 points was the 3rd highest K score in Predators history. Kyle Vanden Bosch's 18 points tied the 2nd highest DL score in Predators history. The Glenside Gunslingers started the season 1-0 for the first time. Their 170.25 points was the 4th highest score in Gunslingers history. Charlie Batch's 27.65 points was the 4th highest QB score in team history. Ahman Green's 19.7 points was the 3rd highest RB score in team history. Kevin Jones' 13 points was the 10th highest score in team history. LJ Smith's 8.6 points was the 2nd highest TE score in team history. Jason Taylor's 9 points was the 10th highest DL score in team history. Will Witherspoon's 21 points was the 7th highest LB score in team history. The Gunslingers won their first Tillman Divisional game in 7 tries. The Bloomington Eco Warriors started the season 1-0 for the first time. Their 175.95 points was the 3rd highest score in team history. Drew Brees' 15.6 points was the 10th highest QB score in team history. Travis Henry's 19.15 points was the 4th highest RB score in team history. Jamal Lewis' 18.3 points was the 7th highest RB score in team history. Ben Troupe's 2.8 points was the 10th highest TE score in team history. Shayne Graham's 13.5 points was the 5th highest K score in team history. Will Smith's 12 points tied the 8th highest DL score in team history. Rhonde Barber's 22 points was the highest DB score in team history, breaking Erik Coleman's previous team best of 21 points set in week 13 of 2005. The Eco Warrios defeated Good Grief for the first time ever. The Fat Nancies' 239.25 points was the 4th highest score in SAC'D history. The combines score of the Fat Nancies/Discples game of 453.95 points was the 3rd highest score games in SAC'D history. Jeff Wilkins' 22.7 points was the 2nd highest K score in SAC'D history. Jeff Wilkins passed Josh Brown to move into 2nd place all time among SAC'D kickers. Wilkins has 133.35 points in 14 games for a 9.5 average. Larry Fitzgerald passed Marvin Harrison and Steve Smith to move into 1st place all time among SAC'D wide receivers. Fitz has 226 points in 14 games for a 16.1 average. The Disciples of the 36 Chambers started the season 0-1 for the first time. The Chambers' 214.7 points was their third highest point total ever. Lavaranues Coles' 19.3 points was the 10th highest WR score in Chambers history. Heath Miller's 17.6 points was the highest TE score ever for the Chambers, surpassing their previous best of 15.9 by Erron Kinney in week 9 of last season. John Abraham's 22 points and Leonard Little's 20 points were the 2nd and 3rd highest DL scores in Chambers history, respectively. Keith Bulluck's 26 points was the 3rd highest LB score in team history. Keith Bulluck passed Donnie Edwards to move into 2nd place all time among SAC'D LBs. Bulluck has 254.8 points in 14 games for a 18.2 average. Troy Polamalu's 20 points tied the 3rd highest DB score in team history. Adam Archuletta's 17 points tied the 8th highest DB score in team history. Good Grief started the season 0-2 for the second straight year. Their 156.95 points was the second lowest score in team history, and lowest since scoring 154.25 points in week 1 of last season. Drew Bennett's 16.6 points was the 10th highest WR score in team history. John Kasay's 10 points tied the 4th highest K score in team history. Champ Bailey's 18 points was the 7th highest DB score in team history. The Bay Area Bloodsuckers started the season 1-0 for the first time. Their 187.7 points was the 5th highest score in team history. Donovan McNabb's 32.55 points was the highest QB score in team history, surpassing Mark Brunell's 31.45 points in week 5 last season. Brian Westbrook's 25.45 points was the 7th highest RB score in team history. Rudi Johnson's 23.8 points was the 10th highest RB score in team history. Plaxico Burress' 16 points was the 10th highest WR score in team history. Josh Brown's 12.3 points was the 5th highest K score in team history. The Bloodsuckers margin of victory over the Dodgers of 63.25 points was the 9th largest margin of victory in SAC'D history. The Falcon Floyds started the season 0-1 for the second straight year. The Floyds have lost 6 straight games dating back to last season. Their 154.7 was the 5th lowest score in team history. LaDanian Tomlinson's 30.15 points was the 7th highest RB score in team history. Reggie Williams' 13.7 points was the 7th highest WR score in team history. Ben Watson's 6.5 points was the 8th highest TE score in team history. Nate Kaeding's 10.7 points was the 5th highest K score in team history. James Farrior's 16 points was the 6th highest LB score in team history. The Nittany Dodgers started the season 0-1 for the first time. Their 124.45 points was the 3rd lowest score in team history. Todd Heap's 7.1 points tied the 7th highest TE score in team history. Ray Lewis' and Zach Thomas' 21 points each were the 2nd highest LB score in team history. The Valencia Vibe started the season 1-0 for the second straight year. Their 202.8 points was the 3rd highest score in team history. Kurt Warner's 32.45 points was the 4th highest QB score in team history. Tiki Barber's 26.1 points was the 9th highest RB score in team history. Fred Taylor's 26.75 points was the 10th highest RB score in team history. Jason Witten's 4.8 points was the 9th highest TE score in team history. Julius Peppers' 11 points tied the 6th highest DL score in team history. Terrence McGee's 20 points tied the 4th highest DB score in team history. |
