Week 11 Notes
The Black Watch Royal Highlanders continue their best season ever at 5-6. Jason Campbell's 31.7 points was the highest QB score in team history. The Philadelphia Freedom have tied their best record after 11 weeks at 6-5, done previously last season. Josh Brown's 14.6 points was the 8th highest K score in team history. Josh Brown passed David Akers and Mike Vanderjagt to move into 6th place all time among kickers in Frenzy history. Brown has 432.5 points in 53 games for an 8.2 career average. The Royal Hawaiian Opihi have their best record after 11 weeks at 10-1. The Opihi are the first team in Frenzy history to start 10-1. Brian Westbrook became the 11th running back in Frenzy history to score 1000+ career points. Westbrook has 1003.85 points in 46 games for a 21.8 career average. The Soap Box Derby Cars have their best record after 11 weeks at 7-4. Their 148.2 points tied the 3rd highest score in team history, and was their highest score since scoring exactly 148.2 points against the Jersey Toxic Waste in week 13 of the 2004 season. Chester Taylor's 44.2 points was the 3rd highest RB score in team history. Kris Brown's 13.9 points tied the 8th highest K score in team history, and was their highest K score since Lawrence Tynes scored 16 points in week 12 of the 2005 season. LaDanian Tomlinson passed Stephen Davis to become the Derby Cars' 2nd all time leading rusher with 249.2 points in 10 games. The Amish Rake Fighters continue their worst season at 2-9. Daunte Culpepper's 24.2 points was the 10th highest QB score in team history. The Valencia Absolut's 187.45 points was the 2nd highest score in Frenzy history, behind only the Nittany Dodgers' 191.75 points in week 5 of the 2002 season. The combined score of the Absolut/Insect game of 318.05 points was the 5th highest scoring game in Frenzy history. Tom Brady's 45.1 points was the 9th highest QB score in Frenzy history. Randy Moss' 41.8 points tied the 6th highest WR score in Frenzy history. The Wonder Mutt's 155.1 points was the 4th highest score in team history. Tony Romo's 33.9 points was the 8th highest QB score in team history. Terrell Owens' 45.3 points was the highest WR score in team history, surpassing Hines Ward's previous team record of 39.1 scored in week 7 last season. It also was the 2nd highest WR score in Frenzy history, behind only Drew Bennett's 47.3 points in week 14 of the 2004 season. The Bay Area Bloodsucking Insects have their worst record after 11 weeks at 3-8. Phil Dawson's 18.3 points was the highest K score in team history, surpassing Josh Scobee's 17.8 points scored in week 14 last season. The Nittany Dodgers have tied their best record after 11 weeks at 6-5, done previously in 2005 and 2006. TJ Houshmandzadeh passed Donald Driver to become the Dodgers 3rd all time leading receiver with 248.65 points in 14 games for a 17.8 average from 2006-07. Robbie Gould passed Sebastian Janikowski to become the Dodgers all time leading kicker with 194.05 points in 21 games for a 9.2 average in 2006-07. The Urza's Ragers have their worst record after 11 weeks at 3-8. Chris Cooley's 18.9 points was the 2nd highest TE score in team history. Cooley passed Jason Witten to become the all time leading tight end in Ragers history with 194 points in 26 games for a 7.5 average in 2004-07. The Pittsburgh defense passed the Tampa Bay defense to become the 3rd all time leading defense in Frenzy history with 647 points in 56 games for an 11.6 lifetime average. Carson Palmer passed Jeff Garcia to become the all time leading quarterback in Predators history. Palmer has 512.45 points in 21 games for a 24.4 average from 2006-07. Garcia had 484.1 points in 20 games for a 24.2 average from 2002-03. The Philadelphia Freedom have their best record ever at 7-5. They have also tied their personal best with 7 wins in a season. Their 135.2 points was the 8th highest score in team history. Kurt Warner's 35 points was the 7th highest QB score in team history, and highest since Byron Leftwich scored 36.4 points in week 11 of the 2005 season. Owen Daniels' 16.7 points was the 4th highest TE score in team history, and highest since LJ Smith scored 17.2 points in week 4 of the 2005 season. Josh Brown passed John Carney to move into 5th place all time among Frenzy kickers, with 433.8 points in 54 games for an 8.1 lifetime average. Braylon Edwards passed Lee Evans to become the Freedom's 2nd all time leading receiver with 248.35 points in 20 games for a 12.4 average from 2006-07. Nate Kaeding's 17.8 points was the 4th highest K score in team history, and highest since Neil Rackers set the team record with 24.6 points in week 4 of the 2005 season. Jason Witten passed Randy McMichael to move into 6th place all time among Frenzy tight ends, with 410 points in 39 games for a 10.5 lifetime average. Torry Holt passed Marvin Harrison to move into 2nd place all time among Frenzy wide receivers with 1265.25 points in 86 games for a 14.7 lifetime average. Clinton Portis passed Ahman Green to move into 6th place all time among Frenzy running backs, with 1329.2 points in 59 games for a 22.5 lifetime average. The Soap Box Derby Cars have their best record after 12 weeks at 7-5. The Dallas D score of 20 points tied the 6th highest D score in team history. LaDanian Tomlinson passed Brian Westbrook to become the all time leading rusher in Derby Cars history with 270.4 points in 11 games for a 24.6 average this year. Westbrook had 265.5 points in 13 games and a 20.4 average for the Derby Cars in 2004. The Amish Rake Fighters have their worst record after 12 weeks at 3-9. Peyton Manning's 28.4 points was the 5th highest QB score in team history. The Rake Fighters defeated the Soap Box Derby Cars for the first time in their four lifetime meetings. After nine straight losses, the Rake Fighters won their first ever game against a Central division opponent. Willie Parker passed Kevin Jones to become the Rake Fighters 2nd all time leading rusher with 195.7 points in 11 games for a 17.8 average. Larry Fitzgerald's 32.1 points was the 5th highest WR score in Wonder Mutts' history. The Mutts won their 50th career game, improving to 50-46. The Mutts are just the third team along with the Predators and Opihi, to win 50 Frenzy games. The Bay Area Bloodsucking Insects have their worst record after 12 weeks at 3-9. The Insects lost their 50th career game, dropping to 46-50 lifetime. The Insects join the Freedom as the only teams to have lost 50 Frenzy games. The Nittany Dodgers have tied their best record after 12 weeks at 7-5, done previously in 2005. Brett Favre's 35.6 points was the 5th highest QB score in team history. Robbie Gould's 15.3 points was the 8th highest K score in team history. The Urza's Ragers have tied their worst start after 12 weeks at 4-8, done previously in 2001, 2002, and 2005. Drew Brees' 35.25 points was the 9th highest QB score in team history. Chris Cooley's 18.6 points was the 4th highest TE score in team history. Adam Vinatieri of the St. Paul Popes passed Jason Elam to move into 3rd place all time among Frenzy kickers. Vinatieri has 476.85 points in 54 games for an 8.8 lifetime average. |
