Rule changes to Consider for 2020 season
1) Just jotting this down to put out for discussion during offseason - changing the 6th seed to be similar to Frenzy - especially now that I have the 2nd best All Play record, but currently the 8th seed:
Change the 6th seed for the playoffs to being based on each teams overall All-Play Record. In the event of a Tie, each teams overall Power Ranking would be Tie-Breaker.

I meant to bring this up last year. Was in similar boat and missed out on playoffs last season.

Re: Rule changes to Consider for 2020 season
This thread looks like it's for all proposed rule changes. If that's the case, then to both prevent tanking and to help those in contention, but who are prevented from resetting their lineup when late info comes in, I propose:
In the event a team has a player (or more) in their starting lineup who has been announced as out prior to the start of their game, that the commish be allowed to replace said player with an eligible bench player with the highest average points to date. This would prevent the commish from having to make any decisions on replacing players based on matchups, favorites, etc. and would keep our matchups more competitive.

DUDE!! Sorry, old brain here.
Tell me again, how we would do this and not add a bunch of new tasks to my job as commish?

Re: Rule changes to Consider for 2020 season
Here's an FAQ on FAAB stuff in myfantasyleague.
So, not sure this would add tasks as much as change them. Currently, you have to pay attention to the timer and when someone has made a successful bid, you manually go into mfl and add that person (and corresponding salary) to the owner's roster, yes? If we use mfl as the mechnasim to put in blind bids, then it should be able to do those steps for you. However, I assume you would still have to enter the contract years. I could be wrong; I haven't seen the interface set up in mfl before, it may just be another field you need to enter when making a bid. I know there are other little things on the commish side to at least be aware of but for the most part think the framework is already there.
