Burt Paulson, Hospital
I received a phone call last night from a mutual friend that Burt had a heart attack and was in the hospital. I'm at my cabin in the mountains (spotty phone service)and the call got dropped so that's all I know. However Burt was on line about 10 minutes before I got the call so I'm taking that as a positive.
Keep Burt in your prayers and maybe he'll be on line sometime today. |

Re: Burt Paulson, Hospital
He just had an angioplasty 2 days ago and was posting bids yesterday. Hoping he's OK.
My thoughts are certainly with him and the family right now. Pull through this Burt, we love ya!

Re: Burt Paulson, Hospital
Sounds like our man Burt is recovering well. This is a recent post on his Facebook timeline by his daughter.

Re: Burt Paulson, Hospital
Hey guys...thanks for the note. Just got home today. No heart attack luckily. I had 90 % blockage in one of my main arteries which they did surgery to put a stent in . I also have an overall weak heart. They are not really sure what caused that - possibly some viral infection that gradually weakened it. So they have me on all kinds of meds, and will watch me closely. So adjusting my diet and exercise are in store. they ran a test yesterday, and the stent has already increased the pump rate of my heart...supposed to be around 50-60% - pre-surgery it was at 32%...yesterdays' test showed it back up to 38% already. So prognosis is good. Thanks to everyone for the thoughts and prayers!

Get well soon! 90% blockage is scary shit. Glad they caught it early enough to still be able to surgically repair with a stint.
