![]() ![]() Brant has been brought on board with the official title of Midwest Scout for the team, although it is believed that he has "unofficially" (i.e. don't tell his wife) taken on the role as co-GM with Mike SantaLucia. Despite the loss of a league franchise with the disolving of the Inbreds, league Commissioner Mike SantaLucia seemed unfazed. "The league will be a strong as ever as we enter our 10th season." SantaLucia stated. "11 of the 12 organizations from last years group have committed to return, and we already have a couple interested parties bidding for the 12th slot opened up by the departure of the Inbreds." Appartantly the league is considering expanding back to 14 teams if another strong ownership group is located. Asked why he brought Moustis into his ownership group, SantaLucia replied "Friendship, plain and simple... friendship. Plus, Brant brings some drafting skills to the table that we often overlook as we run the draft and whatnot. He also will add in our gameday management, bringing the organization an outsiders viewpoint on both our team, and the NFL in generall. His locale in the Midwest also provides us with key local information from another area of the country that we might otherwise overlook or not be aware of. Additionally, the draft is such an important process, having a second valued opinion can be priceless. We're excited to bring Brant on board and expect he'll help us continue to be the best franchise in the NF-FFL bar none." That's a strong, confident, almost cocky statemet from the champs, but seeing as they've won 3 out of the last 4 league titles I guess that is to be expected!
