Default Post Season Notes

I was bored at work, so here are some tidbits on the Frenzy Post season history. Unfortunately, Mike is going to get most of the enjoyment form reading this:

 The top three post season team scores were posted this year. The Parkwood Predators have the top two scores with 169.65 in the Championship game, and 163.95 in the first round. The Royal Hawaiin Opihi also scored 153.3 in the first round surpassing the previous best of 141.45 by the Jersey Toxic Waste in the 2nd round of 2002.
 The combined score of 303.85 between the Parkwood Predators (163.95) and the Brain Dead Squirrel Chasers (139.9) was the highest scoring game in post season history. The previous high was 270.15 with the Jersey Toxic Waste (141.45) defeating the Brain Dead Squirrel Chasers (128.7) in 2002.
 The Predators victory margin over the Opihi in the Championship game of 79.7 points was the highest margin in the post season, surpassing the Predator’s own record of 63.35 when they defeated the Wonder Mutts 131.55 to 68.2 in the 1st round of 2002.
 Brad Johnson’s 37.45 points in the Championship games was the highest post season QB score.
 LaDanian Tomlinson’s 42 points in the 1st round was the highest RB score, supassing the previous best of 38.7 by Marshall Faulk in the 1st round of 2001 for the Wonder Mutts.
 The Parkwood Predators have won 4 post season games, the most of any Frenzy team.
 The Parkwood Predators and the Brain Dead Squirrel Chasers are the only teams to reach the playoffs all three years.
 The Predators have scored more points (794.25) and averaged more points (132.38) than any other team.
 Jeff Garcia is the all time leading QB in post season history, with 68.45 points in 3 games for a 22.8 average. He appeared in 2001-02 for the Devil Hounds and Parkwood Predators.
 LaDanian Tomlinson is the all time leader rusher in post season history. He has 139.65 points in 5 games for a 27.9 average. He appeared in 2002-03 for the Predators.
 Hines Ward is the all time leading receiver in the post season. He has 68.5 points in 6 games for a 11.4 average. He has played all three years for the Parkwood Predators.
 Marcus Pollard is the post season’s leading tight end. He has 44.4 points in 6 games for a 7.4 average. He has appeared in all three post seasons, playing for the Parkwood Predators and Royal Hawaiin Opihi.
 Jason Elam is the leading kicker in post season history. He has 53.7 points in 5 games for a 10.7 average. He has played all three years for the Parkwood Predators.
 The San Francisco Defense is the all time leading D in the post season. San Fran scored 41 points in 3 games for a 13.7 average, all for the Bay Area Bloodsucking Insects in 2001.

Woo hoo... great stuff Brian... I did in fact, get a lot of enjoyment reading it ;). Shooting for the playoffs a 4th consecutive year is going to be a battle, especially with the berths down to 4 teams and the many FA's I have to deal with, but I have every intention of making it back to defend my title. It's been a hell of a 3 year run for my franchise, the key now will be sustaining the level of excellance I've achieved so far.
