Opps, I was 5-6 in 2005, and finished 8-6. My point remains the same however, I always go for the win, even if it hurts my playoff position.

FTR, however, I 100% support a rule ammendment to award the #1 pick via a weighted lottery involving all 8 non playoff participants. I'd weight it by giving the worst record 8 chances, 2nd worst 7 chances, and so on down to the 8th best team just getting 1 chance.

Last year I started 1-7 and finished 6-8, and that really hurt my draft slot. I further continued the charitable draft activities with my horrible first round selection. This year, well, this year was the year of the

That would be a bad idea for league parity, personally I've seen no evidence of people tanking it late in the season. I had my best team out every week in the Frenzy and I came damn close to losing the #1.

That's what I've enjoyed about SAC'D and (previously) the Frenzy. You don't have to worry about people tanking it late in the season. My season may have been short-lived but I looked at it more as being a spoiler, and I think every team here does the same.

A disappointing season for me but I still enjoyed every bit of it...I just wish I had the time to manage my old Frenzy team but other factors caused me to pass it on to someone else.

Good luck to all the playoff teams but I'm pulling for my Derrick Thomas divison mate Fat Nancies! Congrats on the #1 seed in your first year, Stephen!

8! = 36. The worst team would only have a 22% chance at getting the #1 pick. I agree with above posters...no need for a lottery when you have a group that doesn't quit.
