Giants 2.09 S Kenny Phillips Giants

Again, I have to take Phillips here. IMO, clearly the best safety in the draft - and on top of that, he walks into a perfect situation in NY. Gibril Wilson's absence leaves a whole lot of tackles available for Phillips. I think he may start from day one and be a top 10 DB. No way I can take a flier on a late round offensive player when the best safety is still out there.

Yep..I meant third round. DB's are a dime a dozen, but safeties that get lots of tackles aren't.

I agree. There isn't a whole lot of point differential between the top 20 DBs each year, but there is a huge changeover among the players that make it into that top 20 every year. A safety with high tackles offers consistency I like.
