3.05 RB Mike Hart, Ind

I threw a dart at the list of remaining RBs, and this is where it landed.

Actually, I read this:

Compares To: JOSEPH ADDAI-Indianapolis...While Hart has a lot more mileage on his tires coming out of college than Addai did leaving LSU, both players are quick, darting runners with the ability to pound out the tough yardage up the middle or hit the cutback lanes. Addai is a better receiver than Hart, but the Michigan product protects the ball and is a physical blocker who plays with lots of aggression. He's shorter than ideal, but runs at a low pad level and has the leg drive to immediately break arm tackles. Had some injury problems as a senior, thanks to over 1,000 carries during his career, but until then, Hart proved very durable.

And figured who knows, this might just be a real good fit for the kid.

Hart is pretty much the highest0-ranking RB that was still "on the board," so to speak. He was on my short list at the end of the 2nd round. He may never be an everydown back (and Addai is still quite young), but he should be a team leader & hard worker... and who knows with injuries might see some decent playing time as well.

Rhodes will likely step in as the #2 behind Addai this year since he's already familiar with the system, but hopefully Hart is Addai's back up for years to come...even though I don't like Michigan, he looked good running all over my Hoosiers
