Confirmed.

Reneg

RB Frank Gore to 5 yrs/2756 (2606+150)
WR Anquan Boldin to 5 yrs/2042 (1892+150)

A deal that works out for both teams to balance out our starting lineups. He had 3 studs RBs and I had 4 stud WRs.

Watch out because the SAC'D Champs and Bowl Game lose just made each other better.

I think Flax won out on this deal, but close enough not to knock Geeks too much.

You like your chances against:

QB Kurt Warner
RB Frank Gore
RB Brandon Jacobs, Reggie Bush, Ernest Graham
WR Randy Moss
WR Anquan Boldin
WR Roddy White
TE Shockey/Miller/Scheffler

Really?

I won the league last year with minimal contributions from an RB2 and Colston. I see Boldin vs Smith a wash (Boldin has a cheaper 5 year deal and Smith will need to be reneged to 2300+) and I think almost anyone would see Colston vs Gore to be an upgrade for the mere fact that it's WR for RB.

With Brady coming back Moss should be a beast again, Boldin will produce where ever he gets traded (he was a stud before Fitz and before Warner), and when Boldin gets traded I have WR Steve Breaston signed to 2yr/110 cb contract so I'll be set with my WR4.

I think this trade strengthend my team and really helped out Geeks as well. He missed out on the reneg period and was stuck with 2 stud players with 1 year deals. He could sit and RFA next year and pay market value or get a comp pick or he can make a trade and get some below market value studs in return. Since he has ADP and Ryan Grant he was willing to part with an RB to bring balance to his lineup and in essence he was able to make up for missing the renegs as he got back 2 studs with long term deals. Win-win deal for both of us.

Well, it did mean it wasn't a good trade, ot that your team isn't formidable, just that I like my chances with

QB Cutler
RB Williams, SJax
WR Wayne, Jennings, Welker, Walters, Moore
TE Winslow
IDP's: Willis, Mayo, Tuck, Griffen

And how many times will a team repeat? My team was just as strong last year..then Brady goes down first game, LT's toe, Plax a fool, etc.

Yep, I like my chances.....
