Default Bounty Hunters & Bloodsuckers

Bounty Hunters give up pick 2.2 in exchange for pick 2.12 and TE Tony Scheffler, Denver.

I needed a TE and he was the #12 TE last year. Although I'm in Colorado I'm an Indy Colt fan.

Looks like we both benefitted from the trade.

But who's Scheff going to be traded to? McHoodie doesn't want him and doesn't use the TE anyway. Good trade for Flax. Not so much for the Rook.

Is anyone from Colorado a Donkey fan?

Burt is a Seahawks fan and you're a Colt fan.

YEAH!

If McHoodie doesn't use the TE why did the Donks use the 64th pick on a TE?

Wasn't the Broncos TE pick a big shock to most people since all he does is block (something like 15 catches in college)? I may be confusing my TE picks but I think I am remembering this correctly.

He was drafted more for his blocking skills, and he was considered the best blocking tight end. THe new denver ofense looks to rely on the blocking tight end more especially when they will be in a one tight end set more, or in theory, who know what the new offense will look like. Might see a mix of the patriot method and some new stuff.

Fair enough but I don't think blocking TE's tend to hold much value from an FF perspective.

Yeah, it's a bit hard to tell at this point. All signs are pointing to a decline in numbers for Scheffler...but to what level? He is a talented receiving TE, so it would be dumb to not use him. But I doubt we see the 8 - 10 catch games as he had the last couple years.

yeah , very little value in a FF blocking TE, but thats not scheflers role, the rookie will eventually replace Grahm and his role.
