OK, still no Brett...once he gets on, he stays active...what to do? Should I declare his RFA's and ok it with everyone? Should we start looking for a replacement? Maybe a temp replacement until he shows up?

Two years ago I didn't get in in time to declare my RFAs and I didn't get any. I would say he loses out on them this year since it isn't like he's a newbie.

Yeah, I don't want to be a d-bag...and I don't know how long he's been in the league...but the Season Schedule has been up for 2+ months. This is a dynasty league so you should check the site out like once a month during the "dead period" just to see if anything has happened. If you denied the Clowns in the past for being late, I don't think it should change unless you see a good reason to.

Well, we still have not heard from Brett...that is my dilemma...if we go ahead and start, and never hear from him, then have to find a new owner, then is he handicapped by not participating in RFA?

Any ideas? Does anyone have a friend that would be willing to take over his team, with the possibility that it be temporary, but could be permanent?

I say we give him till monday to respond, if no response, then we get a repalcement team in place, so we can start the RFA no later than a week from today.

To make sure we have adequate time to bid on RFAs, I would also suggest we extend the RFA bidding for one week to offset the late start.

Since we have a manager ready to take over I suggest someone (commish or other owner) take over temporarily and manage the team. This management would be minimal, franchise and RFA desigination. if Brett shows within a reasonable time (have to determine this) undo the moves.

This would get us through the RFA period and protect some of the potential new owners players. It also protects Brett somewhat since he only missed the RFA/franchise dates.

I'd suggest replacing Brett. I haven't heard from him since December, and even then things weren't going so well for him with the economy. I suspect he doesn't have internet access, which makes participation in Frenzy and SACD impossible.

With both his last known phone and email down I have to think it's time for you guys to move on.

I'm hoping to hear from Brett for my local league over the summer, but unless things have improved for him drastically since we last talked, my hopes aren't high.

I hope he's OK. He's a great guy.

Jim in Frenzy tried the number Mike(Preds) gave us both last night...number is out of service. I think we have given him ample opportunity to let us know what's going on.

Let's give Larry his team, and move on. Sorry Brett.

Dale has been talking with Larry, giving him the lowdown. I think he will be ready to roll by Monday, so let's give him the weekend to get his bearings and post any RFA declarations he is inclined to go with.

Unless Larry objects, we shall start RFA bidding at 12:01 AM Monday, April 5th

Mike was right I don't have internet access at home and my work computer has blocked most sites. This is the first time I a have been able to sign on. I am at a job search place.
