Confirm.

If Russell could actually throw to his teammates DMC would have had a ton of points from passes in the flats. Campbell should be able to correct that.

Actually 876cb

Being a division mate, I hope this doesn't work out for you Frank. Personally, I don't think McFadden will ever be anything more than what Bush has become...a flashy player with great talent, but a horrible fantasy player....

Agreed but for 2.14 worth a shot. I'm realistic and I don't think he'll ever be a 20 carry RB but if he can get 10 carries a game + 5 receptions and be good enough to be an RB3 for bye weeks I'll be happy. If he performs better than that's a bonus.

There's only one other player that I really wanted and I doubt he'll make it 2.14 and even then I'd expect similar production to what I expect McFadden to give me.

Plus I could not turn down another chance to give Shep a draft pick and the ensuing hilarity.

What's funny is people are so down on Bush but he's been a decent RB during his career. His downfall has been injuries but when he plays he's pretty dynamic.

Rankings based on PPG

2009 #39 RB 11.5 ppg (14 games)
2008 #14 RB 18.8 ppg (12 games)
2007 #15 RB 18.5 ppg (10 games)
2006 #23 RB 16.4 ppg (16 games)

3 out of his 4 years in the league he's been a RB2 when healthy. Last year Mike Bell ate into his touches but guess what Mike Bell is gone now so we should see Bush return to form.

Hilarity to soon follow. Thanks for freeing up some cap room and ensuring me of another FINE DEFENSIVE PICK.

But it's not like Mike Bell was supposed to be a factor last year, he just ended up being more productive than Bush when P Thomas went down. Why can't they find another RB cast off that can come in and do that again...or why not Lynell Hamilton?

IMO the ceiling for DMC is much higher than that of Bush in the next 2-3 yrs. I like the trade. The risk in giving up a late second is worth the chance at a RB2 option.

But that's the reason he's not a good back. Assuming he could actually stay healthy for an entire season, he'll win you 4 games a year single-handedly, but then he'll lose you 4 as well. Looking at ppg is all well and good, but it doesn't translate well to the real world. I'd rather have a guy I can depend on for 14 games a year than one who's completely hit or miss throughout.
