Contract/Declarations extension?

So, it has been brought to my attention that the NFL seems to be leaning to Sept 3rd as their cut down to normal roster size date.

Did we want to extend our deadline a week for contract/declarations?

The current date listed in the rules is Aug. 30 and the rules cite that as giving us 10 days before games start. Since games start on the 8th, do we still want that buffer or would we rather have the additional certainty after roster cutdowns?

I'd vote for pushing it back. This off-season has been abnormal.

defiantely am for extending the time, we wont know the real team rosters until the 3rd

Altough I jumped on the "Push it Back" Band wagon are we not really moving it forward to a later date - NOT actually "back" like, away from the date, like, earlier than like, later, LIKE. Cause pushing it back like, means we just wont like, get to it, but like, we pass the 30th, so really like, its moving it like, forward, RIGHT.

OK..majority rules...

As league desires, these dates have been pushed back a week - so here are new dates:

Monday September 5th at 11:59pm - Off-Season Free Agency ENDS and All RFA, UFA and Rookie contracts are due, along with all DS declared

Tuesday September 6th - 12:01am - In-Season Free Agency begins
