The rule book needs to be updated. Looks like we are missing stuff all the way back to 2009...
Anyone want to volunteer to take a crack at it?

I would be willing to tackle this. Set up a topic in the SACD rules category with starting suggestions and I'll start revisions there. That way both league veterans could guide me if I get off course and new owners would have a place to start to better get up to speed when they decide to join us.

Sounds good John...Didn't you make an attempt a couple years ago, and I dropped the ball on reviewing and loading it? See if you have a copy somewhere...I will also check

We did some work on the SAC'D rulebook after revising the Frenzy book. I'll relocate our progress from the past and get back to work on this.
On a side note ... I really like the way this group takes ownership on different duties of running the league. Burt and Jim commish, Dale on Apps, Nate on MFL home, Bobby on rookie bonus, Mike on history and rule intentions etc. and then overlaps with free agent purchases and other message board movement while real life situations step in like Jim, Burt, Mike and the Canadian owner vacations and moves. It keeps the leagues alive without overloading 1 guy and burning him out and allows a busy group of guys the chance to spend their limited free time keeping this thing moving along and evolving. If we did it any other way all our discusions with a guy like Mike would be nostalgic as opposed to current. Burt still does too much in SAC'D but he asks for help when he needs it and someone always seems to step up. I just want to say "Thanks" for allowing me to be a part of this!!!

Well thanks John. It is nice how people will step up to help for sure, and the duties are spread out enough to not make it too burdensome.
To give proper credit, Patrick actually does the Apps for both leagues. I actually think he puts as much work into the league as I do, but then I hate Excel. Dale does do MFL for Frenzy, so he helps me out with SAC''d periodically...when you check things once a day, its really not too bad.. And you are correct. Frenzy and SAC'd are definitely my most fun leagues, and I think the group we have right now is probably the most solid we have had here.

Now is a good time for me to work on the rule book changes. Any suggestions or guidance would be appreciated!!! I'll post on this thread the changes I plan to make and will send the 1st draft to Burt (plus anyone else that is interested). I'll probably do the same in Frenzy with Jim and Mike in the loop. I really want to have this done so King Douglas has a central location for rules BEFORE the 2014 season starts.
