You have no idea how close I came to bumping this bid or Murray's.

Ultimately I just couldn't bid on Marshawn (still dislike the person, but respect the player). As for Murray, I'm concerned about how Chip Kelley will use his RB's. Thus I let them go. May regret that as the UFA market is THIN, but then, WR's are all the rage (and salaries are showing that finally)!

I do not see Jim keeping both...we shall see which one he decides best fits his team....the old grinder, or young buck in new system....or surprise us and keep both?

The young buck has a a LOT of carries on those legs and is unlikely to get 3/4 of the touches he saw in 2014. That's why I shied off Murray.

As for Marshawn, he was a notch below elite in 2014 and is another year old. Will be curious to see who Jim keeps. Especially with the Bryant bidding even higher than either of these guys.

Yep... I was going through the same thought patterns... decided to keep the guy in the Chip Kelly system... guess I'm up for rolling the dice.

Beast Mode was instrumental in my championship run last year. We had ZERO problems with him not speaking to the Hawaiian media. We wish him the best on his new team. Glad that Burt gets a homer player.

Hmmm...you visit Colorado on one of your cruises recently Mike? He was 4th RB in 2013 with 20.847 PPG....in 2014, he was again 4th with 22.238 PPG.

Not sure where you are pulling your facts from? Unless you ONLY consider top 3 to be elite, and only 5/10ths a point behind 3 to be the drop off point....
