Rookies to TS
Joe Williams: 4 years
Gerald Evvertt 5 years

Rookies to Practice Squad

Dede Westbrook WR 5 years

CUTS:
Jerrel Adams from TS 2 yrs/ 110

Abbrederis cannot be moved to the TS as he is entering his 4th season. So you will either need to move him to active or cut him loose.

Also, Dixon is suspended 4 games. So even though it looks like he will be out for the season, according to what I've read, he still serves his suspension, even if he is on the NFL IR.

IF a player is suspended, and also listed as doubtful, we do not allow placement on IR for the games they are suspended, so I do not think we allow it here, at least for 1st 4 games.

Rules committee? Feeling?

From my calculations, Sam has room for Dixon to remain on his TS, so not sure it matters here. But this has not happened before, so not sure how we should handle this.

According to the App Abbrederis is currently on the Practice squad and can stay there as long as there is space available. Looks like there are 2 spaces available. I'm probably missing something here.

This is quite a conundrum !! I'm inclined to go along with not allowing IR while on suspension as we've set precedence on that a few years ago. So after 4 game suspension he can go on IR.

Keeping him on the T/S would certainly resolve this (dare i say it) conundrum.

I tried to post earlier that I was traveling. I'm fine keeping JA on the T/S to clear it all up. But since I can't look at a roster and am trying to keep up via my cell, if he needs to be cut to make it fit, that can be the last resort fix to the roster if needed.

Looks like you forgot to assign rookie 2.04 RB Alvin Kamara, NO to a contract and roster assignment. I'm sure that was a mistake. Have we had this type of conundrum in the past?

For Kamara, we usually give the newer owner a free pass on the first one. On Dixon, I'm inclined to go with Burt's interpretation as I believe he's correct that we haven't allowed people to IR suspended players. Keep Abby on the TS and we should be ok.

I hate to be a stick in the mud, but this is Jim's 3rd year. He got his free pass year one when his declarations were late.

We have enough tools that these mistakes should not happen. I am inclined to give one more free pass, since this is a high pick, as long as no one strongly objects. But last pass if so...

I have no objections as this wasn't for the purpose of competitive advantage, quite the opposite with a high draft pick. Samuel also mentioned he was traveling and doing this on his phone

Worth noting... Jim is no longer the owner. This is Sam. I've been the owner for less than a year.

I haven't been particularly pleased with frequency and my own mistakes in the last few weeks with regards to this team, FA declarations and the like. It's something I am hoping I will be able to improve with better familiarity and more experience. But if I find in the next year or so that I'm still struggling to balance my work life, home life, and while giving this league the attention that it deserves, I promise I'll find another owner to replace me. For now, I really like the concept and am hoping I will be able to make it work better in time.
