Vikings 1.5 Troy Williamson Vikings

Home town pick here, no doubt, but one I feel justified.

I traded out of Arrington's spot because I think AZ will be looking for a new starter in a couple of years after they are disappointed with his production.

Braylon Edwards in Cleveland with either Dilfer now, or Frye in the future doesn't excite me.

Mike Williams dealing with 2 other top ten picks doesn't excite me either.

Williamson working with Culpepper does however look good on paper to me.

The 1st four picks went true to form, this is where the draft gets interesting. I like the pick of Williamson.

Interesting choice. I feel the same way now I did when they announced the Vikes pick . Hope he pans out for you!

There aren't any more RBs I'd take in the 1st round of a rookie draft. The QBs don't excite me. No Shockey type tight ends. That leads the WRs.

Since 1st round WRs are notorious for being busts (at least 50% of the time), which situation looks best:

Cleveland (Dilfer?)
Baltimore (Boller?)
Detroit (Harrington, and two other top 10 WR picks)
Atlanta (vick?)
Jacksonville? :jump

This looked like the safest play to me, plus I get to root for the home town boy. Win-win to me.

It's a good one. MIn is almost guaranteed to have a great offense, so this will mean numbers. If Burleson and Robinson can get catches and yards, this guys should do alright.
