For all the mocking you guys gave me when you THOUGHT you'd stuck me with Faulk... how do things look now?
There are 31 RB's being paid more than Marshall (and counting with the likes of TJ Duckett, Thomas Jones, and Mewelde Moore yet to hit the market). To date, the Top 12 RB's (LaDainian Tomlinson thru Brian Westbrook) average out at ~3,496 The next 12 RB's (#'s 13-24, Rudi Johnson thru Duce Staley) average out at ~2,344 Finally, the next 10 RB's (#'s 25-34, Michael Bennet thru TROY FLEMING) average out at ~985... and thats with Fleming weighing down the average at 100, and Ricky Williams at 700! Take Ricky and Troy out of the mix and the 8 backs from 25-32 average out at ~1,133. Faulk is the 32nd highest paid RB. He now looks like a VERY NICE value at 1,000. Can anyone really argue he's not?

Looking at my charts, I currently have him ranked at #36 for RBs and 254 cbs overpaid. In my eyes, I don't see the value you are trying to hype up. But if it makes you feel better, all the power to ya.

If not, I love how specific to the dollar your "values" are!

Interesting that you spent the time to create your own values and formulas. I can't say I spent anywhere near the same effort. Maybe it shows in my freespending ways .I can't argue that you know your stuff, you've done well in the Frenzy and I respect that.

it's actually very simple and didn't take me too long to complete (less than a day combined). i could be completely off in my calculations but i thought i'd give it a whirl in SAC'D as it's worked pretty well in past IFFL drafts. never used it for Frenzy as it's more "draft" oriented. Frenzy has been purely instinctual.

I gotta agree with my samurai friend. While Faulk looks relatively good in the comparison you've drawn, he isn't the supreme bargain you're trying to sell on us. Like so many guys in the league, he doesn't have anything more than bye week fill in value unless there is an injury. There's a whole bunch of guys in the league that provide that much value. Martz's presence in StL alone costs any RB on that roster significant value, IMHO.
