Just like overpaying for RB's in this league, it all comes down to need. I almost just took him myself, but wanted to garner another 1st rounder in next years draft. There are 2 players comnig out that I think will be far and away better than anyone other than Bush in this draft, thus the trade to preds. But what the hell do I know....

after vernon davis went 3rd, i felt a little more comfortable in giving up one of my lower second round picks to pair up rhodes with addai at 1.4....plus i still have 4 more 2nd rounders. now for some shut-eye.

My team is built to win it all this year, Davis is a perfect fit. I may be mocked now for this pick, but long term I think it will work out. If not, the 3 picks after me can thank me for giving them a RB and buy me a beer!

Based on the Frenzy, I wasn't surprised at all that Davis went in the top six. I see 3-6 all fairly equal, just depending on personal preferences. None of the RBs are sure things, and while Davis is about as sure as a pick can be, he's still a tight end.

I'm also exercising my option to swap 5th rd picks with the Gunslingers. So my 5.08 which becomes 5.12 with the Good Grief swap is now swapped with the Gunslingers 5.01 pick.

I could trade the rest of my picks away and I'd still be happy!

Thanks to everyone who made this possible first and foremost Mike S, for grabbing Vernon Davis, and to Mike P for taking my deal and running like a bandit. Without you two this would not have been possible, now I can kind of live with myself for trading the 1.3 and skipping out on Benson for Arrington.

I would like to say I spent more time yester thinking, talking and actively persuing trades than any whole season in my entire FF career. What did it net me? Moving down one spot and picking up a second round pick. I'm a trading machine!

The funny thing is that was my original intention the whole time. I knew Addai was going to be generally more sought after, and I figured I could drop one or two spots and still get White, so that is what I started looking for. Then other opportunities came up and I started getting into talks with multiple teams simultaneously. I can't tell you how many times my wife walked in, looked at me and said "I thought you said you were done for the night?"

Welcome. I got an extra first rounder out of it and none of it overly impressed me, although rookie drafts almost never do. Hopefully that will be nice for a trade later on, or better yet, a great rookie next year. Having 2 this year is nice already.

Sorry for the wait guys but I was working until 10 PST.... but I had a very pleasent suprise with Ernie Sims sitting in front of me. Thought once Greenway was gone I'd miss out on Sims and the last impact player left in the draft, but there he was.

I'm very pleased with my draft so far... 3 potential studs...

I got Deangelo Williams, Lendale White and Vernon Davis in another 12-man league. And we don't do IDP's.

LenDale White, Young, Chad Jackson, and Greg Jennings. I'm not saying that is hands down better, but I wouldn't trade my top three for your three straight up (I'm sure you wouldn't either). Just saying, I'm liking my draft at this point as well. The only player I didn't get that I wanted was Maroney.
