Well... this might be a reach, but I think he will win the #1 position over Byrd.
In a passing attack that is still dangerous and needs to get back to using their TE's, this seems to be their plan since they drafted 2 TE's in the first 3 rounds. Plus.. what a great football name "Klopfenstein", you can't beat that. Last edited by Preds; May 11th, 2006 at 10:31 PM. Reason: it's JOEL not Joe ;) |

Klopfenstein went 18 overall in the Frenzy. You just got him a full round later because of the IDP's in SACD. Great value IMO.
Nice pick.

I love this pick. Reached a tad maybe, but Linehan is real kind to TE's. Real kind. He'll be a decent option for them.

How can a guy with this type of name be any good?
Seriously though, I didn't even think about the ramifications of Linehand being there. Good info.

Yeah, I took him in the Frenzy, ahead of Pope because of his situation. Linehan has consitently thrown to his TE/H Backs Kleinsasser, Wiggins and McMichael and I don't think they have had the measurables this guy does. I also think he can be more of a red zone threat than these guys were.

Well, there goes my hope of snagging him at 3.02 (& yes I would have taken back to back TE's). Oh, well I guess it is back to the drawing boards a bit. Excellent value (and very little if any reach in my mind).

:feedback :attention :GoodPost :agree
opcorn :tribe :thankyou :thankyou :grouphug Wow... Thanks for the love.. I usually get snubbed or bagged on for my picks. :shit I do like his situation and loved his play in Colorado. He also seems to be a good character guy (always a big plus in my book). Now just leave my 1b player for this pick alone for another 6 picks and I will return the love. Happy Friday, Late |
