3.02 QB John Beck, Miami

I really contemplated trading down with Amish to the 3.5, but felt Beck wouldn't slide any further. Especially past Jim who watches BYU play every year against his U of H Rainbow Warriors.

Cameron is very high on Beck, ranked him with Brady Quinn. The Miami QB job is WIDE OPEN, so whats not to like. He's also a bit more experienced and mature than your average rook (being a couple years older), as well as an apparent family man with religous convictions (has done missionary work), so that could bode well in his not being sucked in by the glitz and glamour of South Beach.
