I'm 9/12 of the way through updating the roster app. I had a great start but haven't been able to get around to it the past couple of weeks. I'm hoping to have this completed by the end of next week (around the 14th) so we'll have 10 days before RFA declarations are made for everyone to validate it....and especially for the new teams to get accustomed with it.

Where did you get the figures from? The one I found shows Willis increase as 302, not 330.

Unless the amounts have changed, they are still listed in the rules, under Rookie Draft. And acording to those numbers, Willis will get bumped up $489!! Damn, that's harsh! It looks like your numbers are all off (at least the few I looked at). Not sure if we restructured the numbers somewhere else....the rules have not been updated since our league inception in 2005. And looking back on previous bonuses handed out, they don't match up with what is stated in the rules. So something is askew somewhere.....

There are a few discrepancies that Burt and I are trying to figure out. Once we do, I will get the 2007 roster app out to everyone and then work on getting the 2008 roster app ready.

OK, I have done some looking and I have no idea where the scale that is published in the rules came from. I based the bonuses I came up with on my personal spreadsheet, that matches the scale from the following link (the original thread adopting the rookie scale):

It might have been tinkered with at some point after this, but two things. First, I can't find it. Secondly, I don't think the scale in the rules doc is at all accurate. Here's why; look at the bonus for a first round RB finishing the season #1 overall, bonus says 690. The same bonus in the Frenzy for this achievment is 600, for a salary cap that is around 50% of what it is in SAC'D. That can't be right.

OK, well since the Rules haven't been updated since their inception in 2005, and since you've been using this spreadsheet also since 2005, we will go with your spreadsheet.

We really need to get the rules updated, so the new guys will be on the same page as the rest of us.

Once again, I have no time to update the website and update the rules. I really need someone who isn't already doing something to step up and take car of this. It really should be several hours initially tracking down everything needing updating (I think there is a thread listing most of the rules updates). Also need team name changes, officer title changes, and that should do it. Then just minor maintenance each time a new rule is voted through.

So, anyone? Some HTML knowledge would help, but I think everyone here is smart enough to cut/paste to figure it out.
