Opihi refuse to pick...

Well, not really. But we're not impressed with any of the candidates still on the board as being "must haves"... so the OPIHI have traded their 2008 2.02 pick to the VALENCIA (aka "Preds")... for their 2008 picks 2.06 and 3.11.

Guess I'm just stockpiling late rounders so I can have all training camp to see which guys I'll keep on my squad!

After looking at the draft board... it appears somehow Mike was originally involved in this pick (was it Valencia's original position or Mike's original position?)... what goes around comes around, I guess!

, yeah somehow the "original" Preds squad had this pick as well. Now the interim Preds/Valencia squad will as well.

I don't really have a specific player in mind here (though I have an idea). Why not move up and get my choice instead of wating another 4 picks and taking what falls!
