Can someone tell me why there were two games played in week 11???

This started last year if you see this rule change thread.
http://predsff.com/forums/showthread.php?t=13674 It has to do with the expansion to 6 playoff teams and having the championship in week 16. To get all the matchups in, 6 division games and 8 non-divison games, there needed to be one double-header week since there were 13 weeks and 14 games. Then the playoffs are held in weeks 14-16. |
