Default 1st Round Pick for Trade

You heard right. Even BEFORE the NFL draft, I am willing to trade my 2nd first round pick 1.9 to the highest bidder

BUT....
cause there's always a but..

You MUST acquire the rights to Anthony Thomas and his 1 year contract of 2530.

Need areas are WR and to a lower extent QBs and RBs.

Let me get this straight... you want someone to take on A-Trains bloated contract along with your 1.9 and you want something in return ?

I was thinking the 1.9 was the reward for taking A-Train off your hands. Just cut him man, he's paid about 3 times what he's worth.

Nothing personal Frank, you know I'm just f'n with ya!

BTW, I'm always open to trading picks... I've got 1.05 and 1.11 if anyones interested... no strings attached !

Also willing to move Jimmy Smith (3 yrs 1375) if anyone is interested.

As a previous A-train owner I'd say cut his fat arse and be done with it. I was just happy to find some sucker to take him off my hands................

What Mike? You're the only one that can mess around with Frank?!?!

Damn you Joe!

I was fooled. When I traded for A-Train I thought I would be able to cut him and take all of the hit that year but alas no can do!

So I was stuck with him. I don't like spreaidng my cap hits over years. So if I do cut A-Train it will be during the hardcap period.

Default Soft Cap

Can someone refresh my memory about the soft cap and the hard and the timeframes that apply to both? Thanks!

Wow, talk about totally hijacking this thread.

The Soft Cap runs 11/1 through 3/31. Any players cut in this timeframe have their cap hits spread through the current year, and the year following. The Hard Cap period starts 4/1, and thus, runs through 10/31.

Should not the soft cap time period change this year since all the other dates changed. I have a couple players that might be casualities but because the other dates were moved back I was under the incorrect assumption that this time period would change as well.

I'd second that motion... if the rules committee wants to take it up!?!?!
