I put a claim in for Burnett...if I get him I will make room by cutting Daryl Smith (275/2) since I am maxed on active roster years.

Sorry John..I missed this...but in order to allow this, you would have had to make a cut within 24 hours for acquiring Burnett, which would have to have been made by September 3rd at 11:23am EDT...so Burnett will be added and cut...

My delay on timing was because of the "subject to change up to deadline" and Bounty Hunter editing on September 5th at 7:07 pm...I sent a reminder and how I planned to handle the transaction with no response. To say the claim period clock start was confusing would be a gross understatement!!!
I put the claim in within 24 hours and volunteered how I would handle the pick up right after the revised deadline passed (and again, Hunters did revise their roster declaration on the 5th).
It wasn't a pressing change - we're talking about my LB4. In the future I will refrain from making claims on roster adjustment cuts.
Bottom line I keep DSmith (Glad I didn't officially cut him assuming as only claim made I would get him), go to back of claim line and lose 20 cb's - fine.

Really not sure what you are saying as to Hunters edit on Sept 5th...it looks like we are giving Matt some leniency on the confusion with his claim, I don't mind doing it here also...not sure what your preference is...sounds as if you want to keep things as they are..I can remove the penalty if you want to also rescind your claim..no problem..

If you have some supporting postings, it makes things much easier to add the links to those post, so I do not have to double the time of your research ;-)

Hey Burt!

Sorry for confusion on my post ... I was trying to explain my reasoning for the timing delay on my attempt to claim Barnett. I've got no problem with your ruling.
One adjustment - the penalty would be 22 cb's since Barnett's salary was 110, not 20 cb's as I previously stated.
