Possible 2016 scoring change

So, unless I score 10 points tonight, my team will lose for 2nd straight week to the high scoring team, with the 3rd highest score. I will have 2nd overall high total points, but be 0-2

I was talking to someone in another league, where they give you two points each week. One for a win, and 1 to each of the 6 highest scores. This would bring to the top the concomitantly better teams, who just run into some bad luck.

Thoughts? I know we have all been there, losing with 2nd high score....

I missed this when it was originally posted. Have you reconsidered with time?

I don't like this. This sort of defeats the purpose of the roto style. If you want to make the best scoring teams get a bonus why do a roto style? This is part of the inherent beauty and frustration of fantasy football. We've probably all played in leagues where we've scored high and still not finished well.

Over a few years probability is well in everyone's favor to be on both ends of this sort of short term good/bad luck.
