After a long bidding war for his services, one that had repeated allegations of illegal offer sheets from multiple teams, things eventually went Zach's way to the tune of an offer sheet that is believed to be the 2nd largest TE contract in Frenzy history, only exceeded by Gronkowski a couple years ago.
The Roosters have 72 hours to match, though their release of troubled WR Tyreek Hill may be a sign.

After going over the cost to keep Ertz, believing that his production last year was more of an outlier, and having another tight end that we believe could take that next step... The Roosters DECLINE to match.
